During this practical training, we will show you every step needed to turn a Microsoft Word document into an accessible PDF.

This training will teach you how to make accessible documents, and how to make sure your documents are the perfect starting point for conversion to other accessible formats such as HTML, PDF, or audiobooks.

The introduction of this training will focus on the importance of digital accessibility for disabled users and for the assistive technology they use with their computer. Then you will learn:

• How to make an accessible Word document.
• How to convert that document to a tagged PDF.
• How to test the accessibility of a PDF document.
• How to improve the accessibility of an existing PDF document with Acrobat Professional.

Target audience

This training is intended for webmasters, graphic designers, editors, and communication specialists: anyone who publishes PDF documents.

You know your way around Microsoft Word.

• Time: 2 modules or 3 modules.
• Location: in company or in the training room of our offices (groups up to 12 participants).
• The training is hands-on, so Bring a laptop with Microsoft Word and optionally Acrobat Professional.
